Yes try harder to plan your day's food each morning so you meet the macros. Starvation I think just makes your body defensive so it hangs onto all it's energy sources...fat. Eat the macros and you will do better. Also squeeze it all into 2 meals per day instead of 3. That helps a lot. For me I eat between noon and 6pm and nothing outside of those hours. Maybe a tea.
