I’m sticking to 20 carbs per day, just started Wednesday, but my test strips show only trace amounts of ketones. Am I in Ketosis?

    Hi, Leigh.  Good start!  The short answer is “maybe.”  The test strips are motivating, for me, but they have their limitations. I’ll look up links to a couple of articles on the subject, which I found quite helpful.  I’ll pop back in soon with them.

    I’ve been on Keto for 3 weeks, have lost 11 pounds, feel great, but every time I pee on one of those darn sticks it come back with none or trace.  Not exactly a positive motivator so I just stopped using them.  I tried every different time of day, mid stream, end stream whatever.   Read that every body is different in this process.  If you are loosing - well, that’s all that matters, good luck!

    I purchased the Keto Mojo blood test which is much more accurate then the strips for me.
