The add friends/chat function

The current add friends function across pages says they will be added to that page that you are on, not to friends list.  i have to copy the user name, exit current page, go to invite friends, paste, apply, send.  I have several posts with people responding and can't freind them any other way. 

I have several freinds now, but the thread, post, group, or page we were talking on is not in the news feed. And i have to go directly to that post to see a reply or to reply. 

For me its more like people just giving one paragraph or less and then nothing else. I would like to have a chat, or chat room with the freinds we add so talking to them would be easier. To better support one another
