Day 4
It's amazing. I am down 5 pounds and it's only day 4. I'm sticking to the recommended food items. I'm having trouble drinking 8 glasses of water a day though so I'm going to focus on water today. My daily average carb count is 15. So far this lifestyle is satisfying my hunger. I'm a stress eater, but now my go to snack is a 1/2 a deviled egg and not Hershey miniatures!

I'm looking forward to getting closer to the 2 wk mark. Curious to see how much I will lose. My go to drink is iced tea which is hard to drink without sugar or sweetener. I'm trying to drink it without sweetener but it will take time to get used to it. I miss my flavored coffees and mochas. Not sure if there are options out there that fits Atkins. I was told I can use crystal light for my water so that will be interesting to try next week at work.
Yes, the morning weigh ins are always better so I don't bother weighing in at night.
This week I had a steak for dinner and I haven't eaten that in a while. I usually eat chicken and fish. It was delicious.
I'm focused. I'm determined too. This app is very good for tracking carbs. I'm trying to stay under 20.

Wow 20 I'm slightly higher , however I was loaded with sugar daily, I'm using half spoon sugar in silver spoon half a teaspoon is the same as one teaspoon in carbs , and 1 canderal sugar which is no carbs , cream instead of coffee mate and it tastes lush , now it does lol
im mainly using Riveta cracker bread with a slice of cheese , layer of mayo , tuna and cucumber and that gives me a higher fat content to the proteins
I am struggling food wise as I'm vegetarian,
chees eggs tuna cracker bread and mayo is literally what I'm living on along with now and then salmon and mayo mustard sauce with asparagus ,
im weighing in at 9 and a half stone now I was 10 so just one stone to go :)

Today is Day 14. I'm down 8.4 pounds. I was hoping for at least 10 but I'll take what I can get. I'm going to continue Phase 1 until I hit 20. I'm going to add more lettuce and spinach and Atkins bars as my go to snack. Hoping I can continue my progress. I'm still using Splenda with my tea but I have reduced the # of packets significantly. I don't cheat. No sugar or sweets whatsoever. I eat smaller meals and prefer snacks in between. I'm still having a lot of trouble drinking 8 glasses of water a day! I will continue on and check back in on Friday. Let's stick to plan and knock the pounds out of our way. 😃

plumerialvr55 Congratulations! I think 8.4 pounds in 2 weeks is excellent. I was down 4 but am up 1 pound as of yesterday. This makes my weight loss in 4 weeks only 3 lbs. I have been journaling everything--except for my tic tacs and throat losenges (which I eat a lot of). Does anybody think this could be whats making my weight loss goals so slooooooow? I also only have 10-15 pounds to lose & I'm on lot's of hormonal and migraine medication daily & I'm wondering if that's partly the reason why it's not going down faster. My son's wedding is in June and I want to look my best for it!!
