Hello my Low Carb Peeps!

I had gained several pounds out of the blue when I was in my later 40's. Just mostly in my waist and stomach area.   I heard about Keto from a friend and thought it was crazy and did a lot of research on that and it was so different than anything I had every learned about food.  That was a few years ago and I ended up losing close to 20 lbs.   which is a lot considering I had only gotten up to 160 and I am 5' 8".

I created many recipees and did great.  Over the last few years I have slowly gotten away from it and also found that at my age to follow strict keto is not always good to be on all the time because it was messing with my hormones.   And I am a huge natural person and will not take medicine or hormones....etc.       I am not trying to find a good healthy lifestyle to incorporate  a few of the good carbs and still maintain my weight and be healthy.  So joined this forum to share and receive other's advice on this topic.

Have you tried anything out of the Keto Carb Cookbook? I just only started but because I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to maintain this eating style for long, I bought it and there’s a lot of good recipes in it. All the way from a mug bun to a pizza crust recipe.
