Newbie

Hello.  I have begun a low-carb diet, and I am trending towards going keto and have been doing some intermittent fasting.  I'm a 56 year old male.  Started low-carb 6 weeks ago.  Have not had one piece of bread, one beer, anything for 6 weeks.  I started at 244 pounds and have lost 5 pounds.  I just purchased a ketone meter, which has not arrived yet.  My A1c is out of control.  I have controlled it with meds for 10-12 years, but this year was bad for me.  My current issue is that I'm experience low blood sugar episodes essentially nightly soon after my dinner meal.  I am forced to eat carbs to offset the episode.  I have a note into my doctor about adjusting meds, and have not heard back yet.  Thanks to all for any support I know you will provide.  Tony.
