Fat Adapted

How does a person become fat adapted?? Do you stay within your macros and eventually  itll come? Or do you eat anytime your hungry and dont count a thing till your body tells you its fat adapted?

    “Do you stay within your macros and eventually  itll come?”  Pretty much this. It’s not simply being in ketosis, but when your body has settled into using ketones for energy. You’ll have more energy during the day without having the dragging feeling. No test for it that I know of.

    Stay in your macros which should be no more than 20-30 net carbs a day.  One tip:  When you break a fast your body will tend to mostly burn what you break the fast with......so break y our fast with fat!  That's what's great about bullet proof coffees.  And track your ketones.
