Question About Protein Grams

When looking at the gram goals for carbs, fat and protein, are the goals for fat and carbs maximum numbers and the goal for protein a minimum number?

  • Not as I understand it. Obviously, Carbs are max, but you can go lower if that is how the day is going. I consider protein as a max as well, but as long as my fats are higher than protein, even if I go slightly over on protein. Just my opinion, but I hope that helps.

    Carbs are a limit, protein is a goal and fat is the filler/fuel
