Please Help with Portion Size Question

Hi there, my name is Lisa and I am starting my keto journey tomorrow and am very excited.  I have done lots of research and prep but have one question on portions which I am hoping someone can help me with.  An example, when I am cooking say 4 chicken thighs, do I eat 1 thigh as a portion and not all 4? 😋 .  However, when it comes to mushrooms, again, it says 4 mushrooms but then all 4 mushrooms would be suitable for one portion so this is a bit confusing to me.  Many thanks and sorry if I sound dumb, just don't want to get it wrong.

    What i have researched and read , is eat when hungry ,,until you are full,  if it takes 4 chicken thighs to make you feel full,, then eat 4 . if it only takes one eat one. But what i do is try to stay in my macro units according to my daily log on here Carb Manager, unless i am just that hungry .  i put in what i plan to eat and adjust according to what the My Daily log tells me is in my Carb range . i dont worry so much about the fat ,, but try to keep the carbs and proteins in check

    Good morning Lisa, and Happy New Year. Your counting Net Carbs per day. So you can have one or two pieces of chicken thighs, if grilled and have no bread crumbs, will have no carbs.

    Winter Thanks very much for answering, the more I use the website, the easier it is becoming and I am figuring everything out.  Day 2 and all good :)
