Just starting...

Hello!  I’m Dana and have been eating Keto for two weeks as of yesterday. So far, I’ve lost 6.6 lbs.  My goal is to lose at least 30lbs and maintain.   😊. I am really looking forward to the support because I am a nutrition educator in North Carolina,  and I’m having a hard time retraining my brain to up my fat intake!  Lol.

    Hi Dana welcome & good morning (i’m In the U.K.) I had to laugh 😂 as I totally agree getting your head around fat does not come naturally! I am week 7. I first noticed my skin being more naturally soft & moisturised, then that my rear end shall we say, was filling out (I am 56 and it goes flatter as you get older) I don’t mean it’s gone fat just more youthful 🙌 whilst the fat is melting off in the right places for me. 19lbs down and bloods ( without meds), are much better! No need to be considered for statins.

    Great to have a food ‘professional’ with such an open mind on board. 

    North Carolina will be forever dear to me, it was the first State we visited in the US 😀 so beautiful and home to the best steak we have ever eaten!

    I know it's mad how you can eat all this fat and lose weight, but love the diet !!
