Carbs and Exercise
What do y’all say for adding carbs back in when you exercise? I used to do that for calories when I used My Fitness Pal...it was very motivating for me. But I’m not sure if the benefits are the same if I increase my carbs due to calories burned. Right now I have it turned off here on CM. Anyone have advice on that?

If you are fully in Ketosis and have been for a while (at least a few weeks), your body has become quite adapted to burning through any extra glucose. For me, when I introduced exercise into my life, I increased my carbs slightly. My body burned through that excess sugar quickly and then used any fat stores for energy. Basically, a keto person who is more active can have more carbs than an inactive keto person. Increasing my carbs didn't lower my ketone levels as long as I was consistently active each day.
