First Timer Here

Hello, my name is  Rakesh and this is my first time trying keto. I've read, read and read some more, and finally decided to move from reading to doing. I'm 36 years old, 5'6", my starting weight is 286, and my goal weight is 195.  Once at 195, then I would like to drop to 165. I don't want to bite off more than I can chew at this point. I started on Monday so this is my 3rd day in and I'm using this week to keep it simple with foods and staying within my macros. I really want to succeed in getting healthy and moving out of the "morbidly obese" BMI category. I have PCOS but do not have any heart/diabetes/cholesterol issues. It's nice to meet you all and I look forward to everyone tips and tricks!

Happy New Year Rakesh!!!  I am also on my 3rd day of a healthier lifestyle.  My starting weight is 335lbs.  I am 5’3”.  Just add my weight and height together and you have a webble wobble. 😂 I have been overweight my whole life.  I am looking forward to shopping in a regular store.  We can do this!!!!

Hey Rakesh, I’m also on day three and taking it as it comes. Like you, I read so much on Keto before I finally said enough is enough. There’s so much information out there, it’s easy to get lost. I think that carb manager has definitely helped.

Good luck on your journey, I look forward to hearing more about it.

Scorpinga Hi there. Yes, this app has been amazing. I was going to try to track through the lose it app, but after a couple of minutes of struggling, I tried this one. It's really helping  me understand macros in the food I eat.

Good luck to you as well! Keep me posted on how you are doing.
