I just made a post over in the keto section regarding protein powder and figured I may as well copy and submit the last paragraph from it here to introduce myself since I just downloaded the Carb Manager app and created a profile:
“Looking forward to beginning this journey with y’all. I’ve done low-carb and lifted for years (I suppose DECADES is more appropriate now that I’ve officially entered my 30s as of this past summer 😒), but this will be my first rodeo with keto, intermittent fasting, and calorie-/nutrient-tracking! My goal is keto + IF + getting my lazy butt back into the gym lifting to shed the 20 pounds I’ve gained since starting graduate school and slacking on my diet/exercise routine as a result. Any tips regarding cutting fat while retaining/building muscle on keto and IF would be greatly appreciated!”
