I want to the previous version back

The updated app is dreck. Why, why would you do this to something that was wholly functional and highly utilized? Is there some way to revert back to the thing that actually worked? I can't believe you got rid of typical portion sizes like tablespoons. Now I have to go to extra steps with calculators to convert normal portion sizes into weights you decided for me. Everything about your new version is terrible.

The above seems to work to link to version 6 on laptop, for now anyway. I am looking for some way to get to version 6 on mobile, which updated to version 7 automatically.

I really do not appreciate the new version 7.  For instance:  recurring food, or supplements require (on version 7) that the user check and approve inclusion every day.  I do not see a good reason for this.  Version 6 allowed editing if user chooses to change what they have entered to "recur".   Is the intention that we spend more time on the app? ( Like facebook?)  Even as paid users, are we the product?

It will be really sad if version 6 becomes unavailable.  I LOVE this program (version 6, not 7).  The comments from other users, like yours, seem to indicate that I am not alone.

I already bought the carb manager cookbook, before version 7, to support carb manager, yet I see ads for the book in the premium (so called) version of carb manager. Premium (paid for) versions of most apps eliminate ads.
