Newbie Here
Hi, I did Atkins over 25 years ago and lost 70 lbs in less than 6 months. I loved it, I never gained, and I swore I would never be fat again. Fast forward, I need to lose that 70 lbs again plus a lot more. I have been 100% on board for 3 weeks, just barely got the courage to get on the scale last Tuesday. Got my test strips and I have been in the moderate range every single day. I am also doing intermittent fasting as I am not hungry. So here is my usual day. Up around 6am, have only water, do a 1 mile walk with the dog, spend the morning doing housework, and also working outside, mowing, weeding, organizing. I eat between 12 and 1, 2-3 egg omelet with 4 slices bacon. Dinner is between 5 and 6, I will have a pork chop, and a cup of lettuce. I am drinking at least 8 sixteen ounce bottles of water each day, and do another mile walk after dinner. I am only down 1 lb in a week,. granted I have no idea how much I may have lost before I got on the scales. Am I doing something wrong here? I am 65
