Remember to drink LOTS of water. As the body switches from carbs to ketones it releases a lot of water. Also early on your cells don't quite know what to do with all the ketones so your kidneys clear out the excess to maintain your PH balance to avoid getting to acidic.
It's the body's mechanism to avoid ketoacidosis, a potentially life threatening condition, but only diabetics or people with sever metabolic issues would be at risk of this.
