Hello again, evil keto flu!

The last few days I've been REALLY feeling it. I keep my carbs very low (15g is my max, but I usually only get 0-5g a day), so it hits me pretty hard. First, I noticed the insomnia. Later that day I was hit with some pretty severe stomach pains. Today I have muscle soreness, brain fog, more stomach pain and I'm fairly lethargic. I was able to get a decent amount of sleep last night, but I'm going back to bed now, as I can barely hold my eyes open.

I've done keto a couple times before and I've never had it this bad!

Hang in there, was bad for me. Even went to the doctor of coarse nothing showed up. Or just try to take in your max amount of carbs? Might ease the suffering a bit for awhile. This is a huge transition for the body to go through.

And make sure your taking in mineral supplements.  I felt a lot better after taking my massive regime.

With your magnesium, postassim & zinc don’t forget Himalayan pink rock salt as much as you can tolerate. Recover soon, rest easy and drink your water.

This is my second time with the keto flu. I feel like my hair hurts   every muscle and joint hurts. And there are times that I can't stop shaking. The first time it lasted 3 full days. I have to cook Easter dinner for 12 and I need to get rid of it quickly. Any ideas?

lori11530 are you feeling better? I have honestly never heard of shaking, or hair hurting during all the research I have done for Keto flu. Have you done research, is this a symptom of Keto flu? Without knowing a few things, to me this isn’t normal Keto flu. It’s possible your not getting enough fat, but as I said I don’t know how long you have been following keto, what your macros are, age, health conditions, etc. etc.  If it’s still going on, something tells me that’s a doctor visit ASAP, if your following the correct fat protein macros.

    YunoxApo you really should

take in at least the 20 carbs. Women need a little more for Their hormones I read somewhere. 5 grams is to low in my opinion. If your feeling well now then keep going. By now, you should feel back to normal.
