New here and so confused!

Hi all!!! Im new to this forum, as well as the Keto diet.  Today marks one week, and i am down 4 lbs.  46 to go lol.  I use Stupid Simple Keto, and am so confused as to the projected time to reach my goal.  It has me 3 years from now making my weight.  I stay at or below 30g of carbs.  My break down for the last week was 77% fat, 25% protein and 4% carbs.  Does this sound way off?  I just dont know if im doing this right.  Any one else use this app?

  • Hello and welcome. 77/25/4 is 106%. Can't have more than 100%. A good ratio is 70/25/5. Three years to lose 46 lbs? That's 0.29 lbs a week. That doesn't sound right.  Does the app your using allow you to tell it how much you wish to lose per week and then adjust your caloric intake according? You should easily lose 1.5-2.0 lbs per week and drop those 46 lbs in 6/8 months. I lost 60/65 lbs in about 8 months.
