New to Ketogenic Eating!!

Hi all, I need help here, I have 25lbs to lose. Been on Keto for almost two weeks. Getting used to it. I have lost 4lbs roughly. Just joined this app tonight to discover I’m eating way too much. I’m about to cry. I thought as long as I followed High Fat, low Carb, Moderate Protein I was good. Not so... My stats for yesterday, Carbs 77g/ 7%, Fat 379g/78%, Protein 160g/15%.  Can some one advise me. It’s bad enough denying myself carbs, but discovering I’m doing it all wrong is a killer!!

  • First, don’t be so hard on yourself. Changing habits is hard! I bet your ratios over the last 2 weeks are an improvement even if they aren’t ideal. Focus on the journey, not the destination. 

    Work on getting your carbs under 50 g until you are comfortable. Then reduce a bit more. Baby steps are just as good as huge leaps... and easier to handle.
