Measuring your frozen veggies?
Just curious as to how in the world a 12oz back of frozen broccoli lists 4-5 cups in the bag and I measure it out at 2 cups. How do you get an accurate count in cases like this? I measure my veggies after I cook them not before as I'm pretty sure the 4 florets that will fit in a cup frozen aren't a serving. Just curious what others do in these situations. It kills my OCD lol.

You aren't alone in this conundrum. This wonky way veggies can measure out has me cooking then measuring.
There's probably some kind of "Alton Brown can show us" scientific explanation for the discrepancy, but my OCD ( and crankiness of hangry ADD) has me ignoring what is on any package as far as serving size, I sort it out AFTER it's cooked.
