Blood Pressure Readings

Would really like to be able to enter blood pressure readings (systolic and diastolic) as one entry.

DrBeats I would love to know how your pressures fair once your fat adapted if your following keto. I don't have an issue but would like to see your testings as we move onward the following months to show this brings them down and if your in meds, be able to kick" them.

badmojomn My BP has been 150/100 with medication for a while now. It's been ticking down since starting Keto and this morning (Day 5) it was 116/79. I might actually have to start cutting back on meds!

DrBeats It sounds like it’s working and yes work with your doc if you can cutting back those. Don’t want that pressure to go to low. Keep monitoring few times daily. That’s great. I bet a few more months and you will be able to kick the meds.

I agree with having both on the same graph. As a nurse, I also consider pulse pressures and Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) to assess perfusion. Not necessary to show those values, but would be nice to have both on same graph.

  • Agree.  I'm using an iOS app called BP Companion that has a fast entry and great graphical presentation and reports.  CM could look there for ideas.

I just want to add my vote for improving the BP entry. It is the only real complaint I have for this app; everything else is great. But adding my BP reading is a chore, especially the Diastolic number (it took me awhile to even figure out how to add that one) and it is still awkward now that I know how.

I'd like to add my vote to the BP measurement feature.  Please include the option to enter systolic and diastolic readings.

I too would like to see one entry for blood pressure. I now keep that information in another app because it's so much easier to enter the information and review and share it with my doctor.
