Keto Newbie!

I've been on Keto since New Years Day and have lost 18 lbs so far.  My problem is getting enough fats without going over my calorie intake.  Which is more important? getting your fats or keeping your calories under 1200?

I began New Years too and lost 12 right away.  I can't answer your question bc I have the same one.  I've basically maintained since losing my 12#'s.  I'll follow along and hopefully find a way to start my loss again.  I'm about 10 lbs from my goal and I'm stuck.

Hi! It’s my understanding that fat is merely for satiation. If you feel good after your day of eating, and you meet your protein goal and stay below your carb threshold, your fat intake isn’t an issue. Watch your calories, meet your protein, stay below your carb threshold, and eat fat to feel full.

Casey  I was stuck after the first month.  I was told to add more fat to my diet and protein in moderation.  So I did that and started losing again.  But I feel like going over my calorie intake is why I'm not losing as much.

My weight loss chart looks like the stock market. Started Jan. 12th down 14lbs. The log helps keep me in check on calories and macros. When I exercise 20-40 minutes every other day. The weight falls off. In the meantime I can see the body fat going away.
