Sugar alcohols...

I was under the impression that the app tracks sugar alcohols. I'm not sure I'm using the app correctly yet. How are sugar alcohols taken into the total net carb count? Do I have to set something? I paid for the premium access to this app. Thanks in advance for any help.

  • I have found it is hit or miss with “catching” sugar alcohols. If I import a recipe it seems to do pretty good. But when you use the data base, it may or may not. Foe example, if you look up the bai drinks, some are listed as higher carbs while others are listed as less. Should be the same.

Thank you. I was hoping this app was a little more in-depth then I'm finding. I paid for the year because it was recommended through my keto groups on Facebook. But something simple like sugar-free syrup by Smuckers no alcohol showed up. There's not even a spot on the chart for them. I must be missing something. Thanks again

  • have you tried using your phone to scan the item? Your syrup for example. Someone may have loaded incorrect info? If not, I understand what you are saying. It’s frustrating to not have the sugar alcohols subtracted out.
