Keto: The Sequel
Hey all! I'm getting back on the Keto wagon after a few months of difficulty. Last time around I lost about 25lbs; I've gained 8 of that back.
Mom also a Type 1 diabetic, and I can't even begin to tell you the changes I've seen my blood sugar control since starting Keto. I mean, it makes perfect sense when you think about it: fewer carbs= less insulin= less weight. But our medical professionals have been telling us a far different story for many years, and knowing what I know now, I think that's a major disservice to people.
Anyway, glad I found this community. Here are my goals: 1) Maintain great blood sugar control (A1c of <7). 2) lose 15lbs.
Im about 23 days in. No goal date, just want to get back into that lifestyle.
