My Daily check in results!

Wow I was dreading the scale today because last night we went to a buffet to celebrate my sons Baseball championship win. I was going to be done for the day after my 4:00 meal buuuttt what can you do deny the poor kid a celebration dinner??? Believe it or not I prefer buffet’s while doing keto, I just don’t like eating late.  I got the Mongolian bbq with lots of veggies and chicken, shrimp and beef with just soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to season it. It was delicious. I was full but topped it off with just the filling (no crust) from a no sugar added lemon meringue and coconut cream pie.   Yeah that was a risky splurge especially the coconut cream pie.  However I just weighed and I am down a surprising .7 lbs bringing me down to 166.4 my goal is 135-145 I’ll see when I get there. I have never been there. I am currently at my lowest since getting married😱🙌🙌.  Feel free to chime in and share your story 😀

  • Well today my body is 166.2 (my spirit is 138😂) I will take it. However I am so excited to break through this number. It was my low during a summer weight loss challenge I did (Yeah I lost some ground) it is my lowest recorded weight since 2004😱.  So dipping below it will be monumental.

  • So my body must sense when I really want to go below a # on the scale.  It likes to mess with me. Today is the same 166.2 talk about so close yet so far away. Oh well, I am still grateful to be 166 instead of my old 210.  It’s bound to change eventually and in the meantime I will enjoy eating bacon, butter and all the other deliciousness that I enjoy every day. 😀 I figured out that I am not normal 😮 but a mere 7lb weight loss would make me “normal” 😂 Well at least my BMI would be normal. For the first time in my adult life I would not be classified as overweight or obese. So that is a milestone to look forward to.

  • From 210 to 166 is a huge victory!  Don't let that .2lbs torment you!

I am brand new to this (on day 4) so I am finding all of these posts very encouraging! Thank you all for sharing!

adnerb_harley0ca8 I totally agree with Amy. And you know, that could be water weight. That's why we encourage not to weigh to often as the gains with water retention can hinder our "mental" success. Im keeping off the scale for two weeks now.
