Net carbs vs total carbs

Which is better to track on the Keto diet if I want to lose weight? And what should those numbers look like?

    I track both total carbs and net carbs.  Ideally, most days I like to keep my total carbs  at 20g (with most of my carbs primarily from a small salad and veg serving with dinner).  However, some days I may allow an extra serving of veg, or a Two-Good yogurt, maybe a piece of dark chocolate, or a keto-treat (made with sweeteners and/or almond/coconut flours, etc.) but even then I always try to keep my net carbs <20.

    Personally, I definitely feel best when my total carbs are <20.  But we're all different!.
