Help! I've been stalled for 6 weeks!

I've been doing this woe since 09/05/17, I been averaging a 10 to 12 lb lose per month up until about 6 weeks ago.  I hit the 50 lbs mark and boom it all stopped.  I eat 89g fat, 80 protein and 20 or less carbs, my calories range from 1200 to 1400 per day.  I've tried fat fasting, exercising and nothing seems to be moving the numbers.  Does anyone have any other tips

    mdl11671 Are you only eating until satisfied, or are you feeling like you need to fill the wheel? I think the protein and fat ratio you have is to close together. The fat should be more, protein just a tad less. If your feeling like you need to fill the wheel by this point, don’t, focus on net carbs and maybe you have hidden carbs your taking in. IMO, no sugar alcohols if possible. 6 week stall after being adapted isn’t unheard of. Now your metabolism is saying “ wait a second, let’s think about what we are doing”.  Put the scale away for 1 month, burry it. Relook at what you take in, focus on how much your eating. I tried to fill my wheel after being fat adapted and I was feeling WAY to full for that amount of protein. I realized I had to decrease the protein a little. My gut couldn’t handle it. When you loose fat if the wheel doesn’t change to your weight loss, you must change the intake yourself.  I cant remember how that works on this wheel but you are less weight and fat than where you started and that may be the issue. Sometimes I prob eat half the total calories I started 20 pounds ago, I’m just not hungry. Apple cider vinager organic, try this in large glass of cold water if you can. 2T. It’s not exactly pleasant but it may help speed up your metabolism’s thinking. Avoid dairy as much as possible for a few days. This is a hard one for me. Fat should be the 100+ and protein 65-80 depending on your stature. These two ratios should not be in the same zone for keto. But others may disagree. This is what I have researched.

    mdl11671 I forgot to add I’m in a huge major stall right now and I’m retaining a lot of water and unsure why. My goal is to keep net carb under 20, keep going.  Weighing in 1 month and no sooner.

    mdl11671 let me know or is know if it helps. I’m just putting theory to test here. I’m also trying to do the same but slow going and I won’t weigh in for another month or so.

  • I have been stalled also. Hoping it's because of my monthly visitor. I have stalled before for about a week, then lost 4lbs very quickly.
