I don't know if I'm allowed, but I would recommend also checking out ketogenicforums.com. I've been hanging around both when I have questions. I tend to search the forums first for answers and post less, but it's helpful to hear what a lot of people go through...all ages, weights, etc.
I've been using Swerve as I got a free sample and some stevia I had left over. But, it's been hard this week and I'm not sure if it's because I made zucchini brownies for friends on Tuesday and had some sample tastes to make sure all was good or because I'm PMSing.. :)
I put Swerve or stevia in my coffee only because I add coconut oil and coconut milk and it helps me drink it. I'd much rather have my black coffee!!

Nice! Husband enjoys riding too, but a bit busy with work right now.
I've been keeping an eye on my (especially when I started) to get a good idea of where I was. But I haven't been restricting as I was much more tired when I did.
I've read about not restricting, but you can get too much too! I think it depends on your activity level as well.

I find that too with fats and proteins. I'm learning to stress a lot less about this stuff as I do it longer, so maybe that is helpful? Meaning the more I do it, the more comfortable I feel and realize it's not about perfect macros/calorie intake, etc.. But, it is taking time to get there and learn more but worry less.
That's fun that your wife enjoys it! My husband has a '84 Honda Nighthawk (those are all the details I remember!) and it is not a comfy ride for a passenger! 馃槅 He doesn't mind too much that he gets to roam the roads alone or with some buddies. 馃榾

Sarah yes I figured I would track for a month and then I should know pretty much what I can eat...
my bike is a 2006 shadow 750 and I love it...I got a heck of a deal on it...and as you can tell I like to talk so if you have had enough just let me know and I will zip it 馃榿
I would attach a picture of my bike if I can figure out how 馃槀馃槈

Best of luck to you! It's much easier I find than I thought it would (as far as 'counting carbs').
Nice deal! My stepdad gave my hubby his current bike which was really generous...a bike was pretty far down on the list of wants as we just bought property and hubby is a builder and usually has tools he's eyeing as well. It does need some work now to pass the next inspection. He got some good use out of it last fall and this spring though!
We had a busy weekend so I was pretty quiet around here!
