Changing my ways into a new way of eating

Hello all

I have been a chronic dieter all my life, as I have been obese from toddlerhood.  I have no experience of what a flat belly feels like, or what fitting into single digit dress size is like.  I will be 55 years old in 3 weeks -

I would love to have those feelings, of course, but I am now at the age where I want more energy and less pain in my joints.  I want a clear head - and avoidance of dementia would be a huge goal.

So here I am, trying to change the old thinking of carbs are good fat is bad - it's been the prevelant way of thinking for my adult life.  It's a journey of body and mind (and probably spirit too)

Looking forward to doing this with company

:)

I started KETO diet 1.5 weeks ago and down 10.5 pounds at age 65.  I have another 55 pounds to lose and sure I can get half way to my goal by end of this year.!!

I’m 69 yo and have been on this new way of eating for three months and two weeks. I am about 20 pounds overweight and have lost 17 so far.  I will never go back to my old way of eating. I am not hungry and do not crave sweets. Good luck! You can do this.
