Macros question

Hi all. I started my diet yesterday and so far I have been having fun with it. Howeever I am concerned that both these days I have been going over the protein limit.

Is going over the protein and fat something to be concerned about?

I know not to go over the carbs, but how about fat and proteins?

You should try to stay within your macros but if you end up going over make sure that your fat is 20% more than your protein.

The more you do it the more comfortable you will get with keeping your macros in order.

I hate macros. I eat when I am hungry, stop as soon as I feel satiated. Keep to under 20g total carbs. I have no sugars in any form. I eat well, laugh a lot and now have only 10lbs to goal. Relax, enjoy the journey, read, learn, listen to your own body. The first few weeks are only about learning carbs and how to be well.

  • Joanna  I like this approach! I'm already used to counting calories and watching carbs.  Just apprehensive about the fat.
