wrestlingfan75 Why would you want them to come down?not sure what brand of sticks your using but typically I use the ones that turn color and the darker the better. Over time however they won’t be as dark. If your following ketogenic it’s good to have them higher in the beginning. Don’t obsess over it though. If you want to bring them back to normal you won’t be in ketosis, eat more carbs and the numbers go down.

wrestlingfan75 i think your fine and sounds like what your supposed to do now. I just looked those strips up. Adaptation starts about 30 days in, and maybe your starting the transition now. When that happens, back off of bpc unless strenuous workouts or needed more mental clarity. The extra extra fats are really not needed after 30 days. Some one here told me to back it off and really, it’s working. When you feel not hungry during the day tracking all macros isn’t really necessary in my opinion and just tracking carbs. I eat when I’m hungry and seem to be meal prepping a lot which is stressful enough. Someone I don’t see much told me I lost more weight which I didn’t see reflection on the scale really.

thebinadays2734 When you loose body fat you may need to tweak your macros, but I would decrease calories if needed first. Leave them the way they are if your scale is reflecting losses or better yet your pants get huge. I go by my pants. Scale is actually a terrible reflection especially if your like me and just want to take off like 25 pounds total. You will find that you don’t want to fill the wheel and that’s okay. On the other hand you may want to fill it up and then some. That’s normal and it’s okay. Micromanaging your macros can be really taxing. I don’t count macros anymore but keep a mental count of carbs more or less. If I fudge up one day I’ll mentally prepare to stay a stricter keto the following day with high proteins. I’m not adding much fat to my day, only if I feel like a good creamy coffee to settle me down. I was adding so much fats to my foods that I don’t think it was neccesary. I want to burn my body fat. Once I get to an ultimate leaner level, I will need to add more fats back to keep my body and brain fueled as I won’t have much resources left to do that. Lean people that are ketogenic for health reasons need to stick to that higher fat.

Thanks all for replies. I’m going to take a step back and do some more research. Including looking more into the advice I’m getting from y’all. Goin go full steam ahead starting Feb. 1st. I went back to a previous diet and can definitely say I LOVE the way Keto makes me feel better. Just wanna plan better, instead of flying by seat of pants. I’ll be back😃
