Looking for My Former Self
Hi group,
Glad to get to read about everyone here. I’ve been struggling with up-and-down weight for the last 20 years and want to get off this roller coaster. I’m 59 now and it’s getting harder and harder to lose the weight. Fortunately, keto works well for me. I have 40 pounds to lose and hope I can get there this year. The harder part will be keeping it off for the rest of my life. I welcome any suggestions. Wishing everyone the best of health and success with their weight loss.

I learned years ago in the Marines that the battle is first won in your head, then on the battlefield. I think that attitude has helped: make up your mind that you will do this, and then simply go do it.
With keto I’ve improved my health tremendously and lost 65-lbs and have had no problems keeping healthy.
I use strict keto with no in-between or after-meal snacks, track Total Carbs to maintain accountability and stay away from places like Pinterest as I’ve found it’s too easy for anybody to post ‘The BEST Keto blah, blah, blah’ that when imported to CM grades out at only an ‘F’ Avoid.
I’ve found it helpful to read a lot about keto and there are a few folks I follow on YouTube. They don’t always agree with each other and I don’t agree with everything I’ve read, but there’s enough to help light the path.
Hope this helps and good luck!
