IF and exercise

Hi..  I’m considering adding IF to my regime..  I’ve been doing keto for about a month and have lost 6 lbs but would really like to see the weight loss be at more like 2 lbs a week. I get up at 5 am 3 days a week to do a “Camp Gladiator” workout (mostly strength training..  HIIT)..  and I run 2-3 miles 1 to 2 times per week. 

I’ve never fasted before and I worry about skipping breakfast after an intense workout. 

For my schedule, it works to fast from 12-8pm. 

Thoughts?  TIA

    You could try a targeted ketogenic diet. They have a blog about that on this app.

    I myself fast the 2-3 mornings I work out. I do a low-impact resistance training that does not require a lot of effort so I do not feel I require more carbs. I maintain a 5-20-75% fat ratio with 18g carb/day.

    I drink 64oz of water/day. 20-30oz during my workout.

    I always lose weight the days I work out/fast. About 1/2 lb that day.

    Also, you may be losing fat weight and also gaining muscle weight with your intense workout.
