Cooked vs. raw meat counts, please. And veggies.

The fat and other components in foods, especially meat are very different after cooking. A cooked hamburger has much less fat than it did raw, as does steak and chicken. When added to my day, or in a recipe, it doesn’t allow for changes due to cooking.  I think many recipes are way off since a lot of fat will drain away  few of us eat raw hamburger.  With a commercial food, for example, a frozen Bubba Burger, the nutritional information on the box is for it raw  the protein won’t change, but the fat drips through the grill...

    Excellent point. Pork belly is another good example of where the fat difference is very significant. Playing devil's advocate though, the cooked values will depend on how it's cooked.
