Staying on track

I joined yesterday and I'm amazed on how many carbs I've been taking in daily.  This is going to be a challenge for me. So maybe I'll find some help mates to keep me on track. my goal this week will be to just start the process of low carb and maybe loose a pound or two. The second week goal will be to loose a few more pounds. Add exercise and make a menu for my meals. Any one have any suggestions for Me? I feel good about this and I'm hopeful to stay on track.

  • I’m starting today and excited about this! I’m not sure all of what I’m doing, but I’ll gladly be your mate!

  • I actually started November 1st. Started then stopped then officially started again on November 1st and paid for the premium version of this app because I wasn’t getting enough out of the free version. I’m happy to say I’m down 10 pounds today. How is it going for you?

  • I’ve been at this for a couple months and I was 158... I’m now 134. Keep with it, it’s worth it. My struggle is new food options that aren’t all time consuming or pocket draining. I have a few I really like. I’m here if you need help or motivation!

If your following low carb, try the Mediterranean type diet with less carbs, no heavy starches though. Then see how you feel. Maybe your keto? If your not keto then see how reducing your carbs and increase fats makes you feel. I think you will find you can do this transition nicely/ if you move to keto.

  • Mfortezzo I am doing more low carb. I stay under 20 carbs but I’m suppose to stay under 12. I am losing weight so I’m not so concerned. I usually walk 4 to 6 times a week about 75 min. I don’t get as much protein as I should. My weakness is coffee creamer... I mix it with half and half or heavy cream to make it more carb friendly. How have you been doing, which are you following low carb or Keto? I do make a lot of Keto recipes.

dawn.randolph under 20 carbs is Keto level once you ditch the coffee creamer for full heavy cream you could test your urine.... 🤗
