Adding portion of multi-ingredient dish?

Hello all!  Thanks for this GREAT forum for a newbie to explore!

 

My question is how does one show the portion of a larger cooked dish...such as a pot roast with many ingredients, for one's lunch or dinner?

 

My only solution was to add all of the ingredients in as a recipe under My Foods and then just show the percentage of the amount I ate for that portion.  So if there were 10 scoopfulls total in the whole pot, and I ate 1 scoop, then I added 0.1 serving to my daily log as my dinner.

 

Does that sound right to do?  I figured that was the easiest way to account for all of those ingredients.

 

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated!

    I did exactly the same! 

    If I have something I make a lot - I add as a recipe and if I modified it, I edit my recipe as well to get somewhat more or less accurate macros calculation.
