I think 5% sounds right for Keto. Are you small frame? I think one would have to be quite large to calculate out to 20-50 net carbs (still at 5% of total intake). Keto is usually much lower for most people. I’m overweight and I’m about 24 net carbs calculated for LCHF. My actual NC are more like 15 daily.

It depends on your height, weight, activity levels and how much weight you wish to lose each week. The faster you want to lose the weight, the less carbs it will recommend. The majority of people will lose weight naturally if they stay under 20grams because this is still significantly less than what the average person eats. So it's a general recommendation to people without knowing their stats. The calculator has recommended that I hit 13 carbs per day (to lose 0.5 kilo a week).
