The increase in triglycerides is because your body is mobilizing your stored fat-congratulations! Check out the Dr Berg video on YouTube for a short sweet explanation.
Mine are 215 mg/dL (normal 0-150)
I work in a medical lab and volunteer my blood regularly for testing as part of validation studies.
I have the menopausal belly (fatty liver?) and saw my triglycerides increase after a month on keto. It encouraged me to “keep keto.”
I only check my labs occasionally because my main markers are from my smart scale, my waist and how great I feel on keto. Best wishes-M.
