Trying to keep calories down while building up fat.
I have been on the Keto diet for about 3 weeks but just started using Carb Manager. I love this app since it helps me keep track of what I am eating and keeps me in line with my goals. My biggest problem is finding foods that are high in fat but low in calories. For instance, I like a coffee drink in the late afternoon. I use Cold brew coffee, heavy cream, and MCt oil. The fat is 15 g, which is great...but the calories are over 200, which is not good. by time I have dinner , lunch , snacks, I am over the 1200 calories I am supposed to have to loose weight. Can someone recommend foods that are high in fat but low in calories.

I notice if I eat less processed foods, it's easier to stay under my calorie limit. So I try to make sure I have either a salad or steamed/fresh veggies with my lunch and dinner. To get my fat content right each day I usually have foods like avocado, walnuts (or other nuts and seeds), and cheeses. I try not to use "fat bombs" but every now and then, they get my macros where they need to be.
I've also been doing intermittent fasting, which gives me a more flexibility because I split all of my calories between lunch, dinner, and sometimes a snack.
I can't eat fish, but if you can salmon and other fatty fish are lower in calories.
