Need expert eyes!
Hi, all! Been following keto for about three weeks now. Been getting headaches the past couple days and can't helps but wonder if I kicked myself out of ketosis and am going through keto flu again. Ketostrips aren't showing anything even after three weeks consuming fewer than 20g net carbs/day. If I could get someone to look at my logs and tell me what I could possibly correct, that would be great!

Jetgo1000 could still be Keto flu. Also, watch for hidden carbs, “low carb wraps” to many veg, some artificial sugars, etc. Urine strips are not totally acurate either at this point of your journey, but try testing different times of the day maybe. If your drinking yourself silly or water, this can cause headaches also, flushing out potassium and sodium, and sticks won’t be accurate. I had headaches for weeks when I started, really sucked. I held back on the ridiculous amount of water people said to drink, added potassium supplements, and sodium intake I kept track of. My flu lasted a month it seeemed, or longer. I’m insulin resistant.

Mairlyn pedersen around 105g per day. Under 20g net carbs and 80g protein. Macros come out 72%/23%/5%. I'm keeping my protein a little high because I have muscle tone I don't want to lose. Is taking a multivitamin enough for that? I've been looking into the electrolytes issue but not sure how to proceed. Drinking salt water doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

Badmojomn Badmojomn are you tracking the veggies? I live in Minnesota near Minneapolis. We need more potassium than salt. I watched dr berg on YouTube and followed his recommend amounts of high potassium veggie s. I got rid of the ket o flu. I make a high potassium veggie shake every day which helps me maintain my potassium levels. I also drink a potassium and salt supplement. Ya I limit my water and only drink water when I am thirsty. And adding lemon to my diet and acv helps a lot i have lost so many inches and have dropped four dress sizes since January .

Badmojomn I was drinking a crap ton of water and after reading your comment I cut back to only when I'm thirsty. I noticed a great improvement on the headaches. My skin dried up a lot but that could've also been due to dry weather on my vacation. Now that I'm back in my humid East Coast I'll keep an eye on the water intake and see how things go. Thanks for the suggestion!
