Sweetner test by Keto connect

Hey ya’all. I finally got to watch Keto connect on YouTube for a bit, I watched their video on a sweetner test and their impact on their blood ketone and blood sugar levels, fasting. Please watch this, there is major controversy on sugar alcohols and impacts, this was surprisingly interesting and I’m so glad I watched. Let’s put it this way, I’ll be throwing out some of the sweetners I have purchased.

Youtube: Keto connect sweetner test, and you should find it.

Maltitol is off the list, period!

  • Good information, I have been spot on with my macros and still having trouble staying in ketosis. I have been wondering if the sweetener I use is the culprit. Ill have to check it out.  Thanks!

Thanks--after talking about xylitol on another thread here I'm glad I don't use it any more, and I'm glad to see that I don't have to dump the bag of erythritol I just opened last night. :)  I really like monk fruit but wanted to give it a try for the ease of measuring into recipes.

I'm not one prone to watching videos online (not even the cute kitty & puppy types), so I found some of the info on their site on the "best sugar substitute" page  which has a nice chart. I'm sure the video is more in-depth, perhaps I'll get around to watching it too.

Never been a fan of malitol and thought it appropriately named (with the prefix mal).
