First. Low carb is different than ketogenic. You must do your research. This isn't something to jump into without knowing someone or reading up on it. Some people can drop fat just cutting back some carbs ( a bunch) and don't follow the high fat intake most of us are doing. It's personal preference and depends on your personal weight and health goals.

There's so much to learn, I'm only starting week 5 tomorrow but here is a great place to start. Read, search engine, Keto recipes on Pinterest, YouTube, it's learning to pick out what you need and discard some of the information, some advisors are not Keto but the greater your knowledge the greater your chances of sticking with this. JMO. I particularly like Leanne at Healthful Pursuit introduced to me via here. I love how high fat is changing my body.

Hi there Merel ! I don’t see too many other recent folks in this section. Have you found others elsewhere on this forum ? I do think chat can be a very helpful piece of these endeavors.
Just got this AP and transitioned from something called “Dynamic Diet” to a ketogenic effort ( or the next step up if 12gm/day CHO is too cumbersome. Have dropped 3lbs on the former and feeling pretty good right now - mb dropping further with this one. Without scale til Sat so don’t know yet
Howz it going for you ?

Agree keto not the same as low carb. I’m starting w keto ( 5gms) and will go to low carbhifat (12gms) or even the next one (23or25) pending how it goes (do-ability and internal body feel). Then will see if lbs are dropping, get to where I want to be then slowly add back, watching everything. Good luck !
