New to this....

Hey there, I’ve been successful in my years of dieting although I don’t maintain the weight once I get comfortable. I’ve changed job titles. No longer walking 8-10 miles, pushing, and pulling. I now set behind a desk and train people to do what I once did. The big change in titles. Made a big change in my weight. 25 pounds in a year to be exact. I’m finding it harder than ever to lose weight, diet and exercise with an hectic lifestyle as a husband and father. After I get off work, my job is not done. I then go into family man mode and it leaves no time to exercise. My wife is extremely supportive in me losing weight because she knows how important it is to me. She introduced me to keto. So, saying that. If anyone would like to share ideas of fast, easy to grab meals and snacks for this diet. Please lay them on me! Thanks!

Firstly hello, major life change for you at work.

    Steps:

    educate yourself, here, websites etc

what allergies do you have, food preferences? Once you can recognise a true Keto recipe Pinterest has loads.

we could all list a day of our food but starting out you need so much more fat, salt and 3 meals. Personally I would say try not to snack. I have 2 meals a day now as I am no longer hungry but very occasionally I have a few macadamia or almond nuts mid afternoon.

    No sugar, no artificial sugars.

    I started out on:

    bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes

salad with roast chicken or tuna patties (fried), avocado, home made spicy burgers, omelette

meat & veg for dinner: steak, slow cooked lamb shank, gammon, chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese & wrapped in bacon, fish, pork loins with cream & black peppercorn sauce

snacks did not feature loads of water 💦
