3rd week on keto but seem stalled
Hi all, newbie keto user. Been on keto for just under 3 weeks now. Weight came off fast the first week (water) but I’ve seemed to have stalled which is why I got this App. Saw a you tube video that makes me I’ve been eating incorrectly by mixing in fats when I eat carbs. I guess I should concentrate on getting fats in one sitting and carbs in another so insulin doesn’t store the fat right away? Also doing intermittent fasting but last 5 days I’ve stalled at 211 lbs, down from 223lbs. Keeping calories below 1500, but scale isn’t moving. However I feel amazing going eating on this lifestyle, and am seeing noticeable changes in body shape. Anything I’m doing wrong or am I just impatient? Drinking Lots of alkaline electrolyte water too. Trying to reach 175 but at this pace it’s gonna be a while.

I have never heard of separating macros. I have been on Keto since June and have lost 32 pounds with 18 more to go to reach goal. I eat fats, carbs, and protein together consistently. Not eating after 6 pm and fasting have been helpful tools. I also find that I need to keep my carbs really low and concentrate on eating whole foods rather than processed foods even if they are marketed as keto. Best to you!
