Jumping Back into LCHF IF life

Hey there,

New to the app and looking to connect with the community to learn and stay motivated. Family history of auto immune  disease - MS, Polymyalgia. Ditched gluten 5 years ago, and went LCHF IF 3 years ago. Had great success, felt great, measurements same as university, hit goals, pain from inflammation and joint pain disappeared. Even successfully completed a 7 day water fast last summer.  Then early September things went off the rails  after an ankle injury left me unable to run in the morning and I really noticed the energy level drop.   Long story short, here I am, 20lbs up and feeling low both physically and mentally. I know this is the road back to my better me, and I hope to get some  new ideas for keeping it fresh and making the most of this app!

Hi Mable, yes I am starting back again, last Wed.  First of all, I love this app, too bad you have to pay to get other options, but basic is working for me.  I was 14 lbs up from last year from the 26 lbs down and certainly feel it.

This way of eating has its challenges, but it is mind over matter.  I have been drinking Keto Coffee the last four days and have been doing well on a 18-20 hr fast.  It is true, you don't seem that hungry.  I will see how that goes when I am struck with emotional stress, as food is my buddy then.  lol

    Hope your day goes well.
