Cholesterol

I’m on day 3. Still learning. Today I consumed 774mg of cholesterol. Is that ok? Seems like an alarming number. Is that typical when on a Ketogenic diet? Thanks.

    Hi there. Don't count cholesterol on ketogenic. Your body will start processing it eventually. Several myths on heart disease and cholesterol out there. Self research is a key factor following ketogenic. The more fat the better on keto. Make sure you have plenty of quick fat sources on hand. Pounds of butter ; oils- not vegetable or corn oils. Olive, macadamia, avacado, truffle, etc. Put these on everything. Enjoy!

    My cholesterol and triglycerides are both down to low normal ~ with no medication just butter, double (heavy) cream, avocados & avocado oil, 1 tblsp MCT Oil, olive oil, coconut oil..... bacon fat, organic beef dripping..... can’t think of any more just off the top of my head 😀

    Joanna oh and the beef, or pork roast in the crock pot or oven pan. Drink that juice! And keep it, don't dump any!

    Joanna getting mine checked soon, I'm a total of 270 last year, im thinking my body my need more time to adjust - but I'll have them check and then check again in 8 months or so.
