Keto diet

Hi, Everyone! So this is my first day on the keto diet. I've seen amazing results with other people. I definitely hope this works for me. Question, I read a lot of people talk about eating a lot of butter and coconut oil. My question is how do an individual absorb all of this oil and butter. Like should I cook with it all the time? Please help I want to get this right, thanks😄 I am excited!!!

    Alesha, welcome. Butter and coconut oil can be used to to cook and bake.  Some people drink something called bulletproof coffee which involves one of these (usually butter) in their coffee. Google it.  

    I've seen broccoli and cauliflower praised as veggies in particular because they're good at absorbing the good oils they're cooked in. Some people make savory or sweet (via sugar-substitute) "fat bombs" to keep their fat percentage in line (some people avoid sweet fat bombs as they can set off a sweet tooth in folks with sugar addiction), and coconut oil is big for these.

    I'll be interested to see how others here use butter and coconut oil.
