Fried mozzarella cheese sticks

Hi everyone I’m new to Keto & I’m trying to figure all this stuff out. This might be a dumb question but does anyone know if removing the crust from fried Mozzarella cheese sticks decreases the carb count?

    Not a dumb question at all!  Welcome to keto!

    It depends on what the crust is made of.  If the crust is carb intensive (like flour) then yes, removing it would reduce the carbs.  But if it’s made of something without carbs (like ground up pork rinds) then it won’t make any difference.
