Hi! Welcome. I prefer to track net carbs but I know others here who prefer total because they find it too easy to accidentally take in too many carbs when tracking net carbs or because they just don't want to fool with subtracting fiber. Others track diabetes carbs, which includes a portion (half?) of any sugar alcohols eaten, because they are prone to blood sugar spikes with sugar alcohol intake. You might just start out with net carbs and switch to one of the others if you have problems.
