You have to use CM request. They will send the request for u and your friend has to accept, just like FB. Try again. Go to community, friends then enter friends name. You will get a confirmation from CM that it’s been sent.

I have also sent a friend request via cm and my friend has not received anything. What am I doing wrong.

Make sure after entering their email address to hit ENTER afterwards then Next. It will work 👌🏻

Elynn I figured it out a while back. Waited for response on this forum and never received until now. Don't think Moderator checks messages often, which is a bit disappointing.
